Latest news in brief

Dear Friends

Following the announcement by the PM on 23rd March, our church building must now close completely.

The building may be closed, but we are still the body of Christ. We may be scattered but we are still one in Christ.

As I now cannot pray in the Church, I will be praying in the Vicarage at noon each day – I will light a candle, pray the Lord’s Prayer, and say the 23rd Psalm. Please pray with me if you can.

If you have any prayer requests, please either email me or phone on 446466.

Readings and homily for Sunday will be circulated later in the week.

The Pope has also invited all Christin to join with him at 11.00am tomorrow (25th March) in saying the Lord’s Prayer on the Feast of the Annunciation

God Bless

Reverend Sue Diggory

Vicar, Holy Trinity,

Crockham Hill

During the period that no public services are held in Holy Trinity, because of the coronavirus outbreak, a service of Daily Morning prayer and a service of Morning Prayer on a Sunday will be published on our website.

Rev Sue will celebrate the Eucharist privately each Sunday and will say Sunday Morning Prayer at 10.00am. Please join in with this at home if you are able so that we can continue our worship as a community.

A weekly Pew and News sheet will also be published on our website with the Sunday readings and weekly updates and sent out by email. If you are unable to access the internet and email and would like a copy please let Rev Sue know.

There will also be regular updates on our Face Book page.

Both lent courses have been cancelled because of the Coronavirus outbreak

the League of Friends has received the following notice regarding the Edenbridge Hospital MIU.  It is closed TEMPORARILY, and we are recommended to use Sevenoaks Hospital in the meantime, if the need arises.

We have been asked to distribute this message as widely as possible, and hopefully will receive a similar message when the MIU is able to reopen again.

We now have a Church Face Book page

which can be seen at
