Confirmations
Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey where those who have been baptised as children make a firm commitment to Christian discipleship. It is also the time when a person is admitted to Holy Communion.
Through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop, the Church also asks God to give those being confirmed power, through the Holy Spirit, to live the life of discipleship.
Confirmation involves about several group preparation sessions with the Vicar.
If you would like to be confirmed, or if you would like to find out more about the Christian faith, or if you have a child in Y7 or above do ring the Revd Ali Cooper (01732 669447)
